Our Roots and Growth
Fatty Chem began as a small, family-owned operation in Los Fresnos, Texas. Back then, dependable grease collection was hard to come by. Over time, we invested in equipment, expanded our routes, and built lasting relationships across South Texas — all while staying true to our core principles of service, reliability, and integrity.
The industry has changed a lot since we started in 2003. In the early days, restaurants often paid us to collect their used cooking oil, treating it like waste. Today, used cooking oil is a valuable resource in the renewable energy and feed industries. Depending on the quality and volume, we can now offer free collection or even pay our partners for their oil.
But through all these changes, one thing has never changed: our commitment to service. We remain a local, reliable company that understands the needs of kitchens, and our main focus is delivering the best service possible to every partner.

The ISCC self-declaration form provided here is an integral part of the agreement between Fatty-Chem By-Products, Inc. and our valued customers. This declaration ensures compliance with international standards for sustainable collection and recycling of used cooking oils (UCO). Customers are required to review, complete, and return the form as specified. Failure to object or respond within 14 days of receiving the form indicates acceptance and agreement to the outlined terms and conditions.
